Your Passport to Inspiration

Last year, my family and I embarked on an unforgettable journey to America, making this our first family trip to the bustling heart of New York City. We stayed at the stunning Hotel Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square, which boasts an absolutely incredible location. Step out of the hotel, take a right, and in less than 30 seconds, you're right in the iconic Times Square! Here you shall find the Disney store, M&M World, so close to Broadway, Juniors for amazing deserts. Loved the Strawberry cheesecake along with the red velvet muffin. Ellen's Diner - What an incredible atmosphere!  A further 10-15 minute walk to your right brings you to the tranquil oasis of Central Park. We were truly in the heart of where we wanted to be, perfectly situated near many different subway stations If you took a left out of the hotel and made a couple more turnings, a pleasant 15-minute stroll would lead you to the magnificent Grand Central Station. We visited during the last week of September, and the weather was absolutely glorious. There was no need for jumpers or coats; I simply packed all my summer clothes as it felt like perfect spring/summer weather, with temperatures often in the late 20s and sometimes even reaching 30 degrees!

Below is an image from back in 2023 when I visited Munich for some of the most beautiful Christmas markets I'd ever seen. It was full of home made arts and crafts. Mulled wine, German Sausages, Hot Chocolate. Me and my niece even got fruit covered in chocolate on a stick. Yes, I'd recommend taken your thermals as it was freezing. At one point we even had snow. Another truly amazing family holiday.
